As a Graphic Designer with the Northern Illinois University (NIU) Athletics Marketing Team, my role is centered on developing visually engaging promotional and communicative materials that resonate with our moving audience while adhering to the university's comprehensive brand guidelines. My solution is to implement a strategic design method, focusing on crafting clear, easily digestible visuals that instantly engage students with their aesthetic appeal and consistency with the university's brand identity. My commitment to detail, efficiency, and innovation drives engagement and maintains a high-quality standard essential to the NIU Athletics Marketing Team's success.

I design engaging social media graphics that efficiently convey key information, enabling students and staff to access important details and announcements swiftly and effortlessly.
In this role, crafting communications that are clear, bold, and visually striking is essential for effectively reaching students on the go. This TV screen display exemplifies my ability to create impactful messages that grab attention and convey information efficiently to a fast-moving audience.
In this design, I transformed boring Excel spreadsheets into user-friendly graphics that succinctly present personal training rates. By maintaining a clean and straightforward design, I ensure high readability with a strategic use of typographic hierarchy effectively guiding the reader's attention to key information.
This was a digital ad that I created for NIU. When originally approached with a theme centered around 'building relationships', I pivoted to a concept that was a little more edgy, and a lot more memorable for students.

This campaign featured a creative tagline I developed, targeting individual students who might feel intimidated about joining an NIU Outdoor Adventures trip. Its goal was to convey the potential for building relationships and forging new friendships within the club, even for those who initially join without knowing anyone. The campaign successfully led to a significant turnout in the Fall 2023 semester, thanks to its eye-catching design and widespread promotion through various digital and print mediums around the school.
